- Helps prevent future damage.
Why is SkatePaint the BEST?
SkatePaint is the BEST because it works! It has been used and tested in all weather climates and conditions. It has been skater tested & approved. It's the BEST because it does what skaters have needed and wanted since the skateboard was invented.
How long does it last?
Used properly, SkatePaint can last 10 years+. Many factors determine its longevity, including weather conditions, wear and tear, thickness of product applied, etc. If your skating equipment starts showing signs of wear, just clean the surface and re-apply.
How do you apply it?
SkatePaint may be applied by all conventional means including spray equipment, rollers, and brushes. Although, using a 1/4 inch nap paint roller is recommended. SkatePaint cures within 24 hours.
Is SkatePaint only for new ramps, grind boxes, etc?
No. SkatePaint can be used on old skating equipment as well. The surface must be completely dry and free from debris. It will not fix any damage that may have been caused by weather or aggressive riding, but it will help prevent future damage.
Since I use Skatelite, do I need SkatePaint as well?
Absolutely! SkatePaint is recommended to be applied before the Skatelite surface. It will protect the boards under the Skatelite that become damaged over time due to water seeping between the cracks. SkatePaint is also recommended for the sides and decks of any ramp, providing a water resistant coating insuring a longer lasting skating product.
