How do you apply SkatePaint properly?  What tricks will help with the application?

Applying SkatePaint is as easy as 1-2-3.  Once you order and receive your paint (shipping is free by OC Ramps, Inc.), just pop the lid and begin painting.  Skatepaint is unlike a typical paint- its an extremely thick glossy looking paint.  It almost has the initial texture of honey.  The roller you use can be any basic roller-- it doesn't have to be anything fancy.  We do recommend a sponge roller--it won't leave any lint behind.  You will roll on the paint as shown in the photo below;

You will need to roll back and forth in the same area for several moments before moving on.  The wood needs to truly absorb the paint.  If you roll over the wooden ramp quickly-- without 'working in' in the paint;  the SkatePaint will not protect the ramp properly.  When the ramp is done being painted, the entire ramp should have a glossy look.  Dry spots on the plywood is a clear sign that the ramp didn't get a thick/even coat.

Skatepaint is not harmful on the skin- but it is a bear to get off.  Make sure you wear gloves during the paint application.

Let us know if you have any questions.  We are here to help!  You can contact OC Ramps with any Skatepaint questions.
